Free methods

Word of mouth – ask friends and family if they know of anyone suitable.
Job Centre adverts – these can be placed online.

SILC’s Support Finder service - this accessible website is free to employers with a Direct Payment or Personal Health Budget in Surrey. Contact SILC for your voucher code before you register with the site for the first time.

Paid methods

Local shop window adverts – you will need to discuss this with the individual shop and rates will vary.
Local newspaper or magazine adverts – this is often a more expensive option. Prices will vary depending on the publication, how long you want the advert to run and the size you choose.

SILC’s Support Finder - if you do not receive a Direct Payment or Personal Health Budget, then you can sign up for a paid membership of SILC's Support Finder service.

Once you are registered, you can list the support that you need and either be matched with PAs who meet your needs or you can search the site yourself. There are 3 levels of membership to choose from, each offering different features and levels of support.
